Inside Out
In a world where images have become omnipresent, I wanted to find out what positive effects prolonged exposure would have.
So in an initial experiment I deliberately sought to make exposure greater than our retinal persistence. It was at this point that I noticed that images appeared that included time and movement.
As I became aware that this phenomenon was hidden, I was able to start exploring thousands of images to illustrate the beautiful and sensitive results of overexposure.
What our subconscious keep for itself from this overexposure?
The answer to this question might suggest that our subconscious, which records everything, amasses thousands of images and also captures messages, as these works testify.
It also shows that, in this day and age when the quest for happiness has become as much about spending time in front of a screen to get out of a mental state or simply to relax, it has in fact become a never-ending in and out.
These works are allegories of this phenomenon, which led me to show these passages from one reality to another, from door to door like an eternal journey.
